Eyeist – affordable portfolio reviews and why it's a "good" idea!

Some of you may recall I mentioned this wonderful new portfolio service Eyeist when they launched a couple of months ago headed up by Allegra Wilde, along with Jesse & Micah Diamond – and as we’re heading towards the end of the year, it’s a great time to get some feedback on your work in preparation for the new year. For my own existing Chatterbox clients, don’t forget you can always book a session on Eyeist with me as your reviewer, in addition to any of our other consulting or marketing sessions.

I recently posted a new “testimonial” on my Eyeist Reviewer Profile from New York-based photographer Paul B. Goode, whom I saw recently at the ASMP NY commercial portfolio reviews. This testimonial is a beautiful example of why I do what I do – this kind of feedback warms my heart and makes it all worthwhile! To read the full and very flattering journal entry “The Decisive Moment” that Paul wrote following that evening – please click here.

Marketing Trends: Be Smart, Be Creative, Be a Leader

Question: How do I keep up with the trends and still retain my current marketing path?

I have a magnet on my refrigerator that says, “Change is good as long as I don’t have to do anything different! But the only thing that is consistent in this life is change. So how does that apply to this question about trends, and whether or not to change your current marketing plan?

This is just one of the Fine Art images being offered in exchange for your pledge!

Photographer Viviane Moos says: I kickstarted my career as a photojournalist 21 years ago when I worked with child gangs on the streets of Brazil for nine months. It was a profound experience. However I have always felt that the story was not complete even though this work earned me many awards, much international recognition and was published in major publications and exhibited worldwide. Now, I’m turning to Kickstarter patrons to help me create the epilogue to my story. I want to return to Rio to connect my images from the past with the present. It will make a powerful ending to my original story!
